- Larger Vehicles (6 or more seats): A base discount of 5,000 yen per vehicle.
- Mimasaka Area Stays: For travelers visiting the Mimasaka region—which includes Tsuyama City, Maniwa City, Mimasaka City, Shinjo Village, Kagamino Town, Nagi Town, Nishiawakura Village, Kumenan Town, and Misaki Town—the subsidy increases significantly. These visitors can receive an additional 2,000 yen (for 5-seat vehicles) or 3,000 yen (for 6+ seat vehicles), bringing the total possible discount to 5,000 yen or 8,000 yen, respectively.

Prospective travelers should mark their calendars, as the campaign operates under specific temporal windows. The rental period spans from July 5, 2026, through February 28, 2027, with a final return date of March 10, 2027.
Critical Application Windows
Applications opened on July 1, 2026, and will continue through February 23, 2027. Crucially, all applications must be submitted via the official online portal at least four days before the vehicle pickup date.
Travelers should be aware of the following blackout periods where application processing is suspended:
- May 1 – May 6
- September 18 – September 23
- December 28, 2026 – January 3, 2027
Due to public holidays, specific cut-off dates for applications have been established to ensure processing time. For example, those planning to use the service on Tuesday, July 21, must submit their request by 16:00 (JST) on Friday, July 17. Similar strict deadlines apply to usage dates in October, November, and January 2027.

The promotion is valid at a wide array of rental offices across the prefecture, including major hubs at Okayama Airport, Okayama Station (East and West Exits), Kurashiki Station, and smaller regional branches such as Niimi and Tsuyama. Participating companies include:

Payment and Verification
The method of payment is a critical distinction for travelers. For Times Car and Orix, the discount applies only to on-site payments made on the day of use; prepaid online reservations are not eligible. Conversely, Toyota, NIPPON, and Heisei offer more flexibility, allowing the discount to be applied to both online prepayments and on-site payments. Note that travel agency coupons are strictly excluded from this promotion across all providers.
Upon arrival at the rental office, participants must present the "Confirmation of Completion" email provided by the Tourism Federation, along with their valid driver’s license and passport.

- Stay Overnight: The traveler must stay at an accommodation facility within Okayama Prefecture for at least one night. Stays at the homes of friends or relatives do not satisfy this requirement.
- Pickup/Return Rules: Both the pickup and return locations must be within the borders of Okayama Prefecture. One-way rentals are permitted, provided the drop-off is also within the prefecture.
- Accuracy: Any fraudulent information submitted during the application process will result in the immediate revocation of the subsidy, and the Federation reserves the right to demand a refund if discrepancies are discovered after the fact.
